have you ever eaten a fresh homemade apple pie that’s made out of krispy kreme dough, topped with your favorite ice cream flavor, and sprinkled with miniature velvet cupcakes?! if so, then you’ll know how sweet and welcoming the soong-hendrickson family is in person… and what’s even cooler, they were even more magically delicious to shoot.
right before the clock struck midnight on december 31st, 2009 – we decided to take on one last family shoot for the year. we’re sooooo glad we did too. what better way to end such an amazingly hectic year with people that just make you feel all warm and gooey inside. kristi and shannon make for a great couple and even better parents. they also put us to shame in the “let’s surprise our parents with a photoshoot with their grand kids” department. grandma and grandpa hendrickson were visiting from alabama and kristi and shannon thought it would be a great idea to put this shoot together. totally cool… right?!
