a revolving door of fun… the vice shoot
alright… for those of you who follow our work, you’ll notice that we almost always shoot in natural light. we never shoot in a studio… well, it looks like we’ve officially popped our studio cherry.
dj vice approached us a few days ago hoping to get a quick n’ dirty photo session so that he can have some new photos for the summer. as luck would have it… we were available. his only request was that we shoot him against a clean white seamless backdrop… simple right? wrong. we don’t readily have access to that kind stuff… like i said, we’re mostly natural light photogs. fortunately for us, our new roomie – meg cuna – is working for revolve clothing and had access to their photo studio. she was able to convince the fine folks at revolve to let us play a little game of “learn how to shoot in a studio on the fly without making yourself look like an ass”.
now, we can’t fully release all the images because they’re going to be used for other worldly things… but here’s a sneak peak – watcha think?

so one of our really good friends – mikey and lyn – had us come over one day to shoot their little boy, brandon. one of the cutest little kids we’ve ever met… don’t believe us?! see below…

welcome to miami
most of you who follow us on a regular basis have probably seen a lovely little video highlight reel we created showcasing some of the things we experienced during our recent visit to miami. so our apologies if you’ve already seen the footage. but to make it worth your while, we’ve also attached some of the images we took during said visit.
we were hired to document a SKAM Artist Take Over. SKAM Artist is a management company that houses some of the most respected deejays in all of the land. one of them – DJ Vice – who happens to be one of our really good friends and whom we are creating that documentary on, contacted us to cover the weekend in which a litany of SKAM Artists diverge into miami and essentially take it over for a weekend.
4 days, 12 nightclubs, 3 pool parties, 1 taxi cab accident, 1 six hour flight delay, and 160 gigs of raw footage later – we present you with “We Were SKAM’d: Them Too’s Miami Adventure.” Enjoy!

sorry we haven’t blogged in a while… we’ve been caught up in a few projects that have literally drained most if not all our “cash cab” free time. grrr.
but admist all the craziness, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to blog about our recent engagement sesh with louis and jen. these two kids came down from san francisco to come play with us two. why? i don’t know. perhaps it’s because they’re crazy. and crazy people like to hang out with other crazy people… two crazies always make a right, right?

she’s got soul… and she’s super bad!!!
there’s nothing more impressive than a person who can sing, play the guitar, and write great songs… that’s partly why angela is soooo in love with me. oh, that and the fact that i have a HUGE…. heart.
anyway, we opened the door to our wonderful world of guerrilla photog shooting to the incomparable jesse thomas – an up-and-coming singer song writer – who was in need of our talent. naturally, we obliged and we gave birth to the images you see below.
we had a boat load of mindless fun with her… wrote a song ’bout it… wanna hear it?… here it go!!!
